Installation Steps

Note: Please make sure that the Motorola Desktop Suite has been installed in your computer.

A. Program Installation

1. Connect the A1000 to your computer using the USB cable.
2. In Launcher of the A1000, select program "Desktop Suite". Press "Connect".
3. After connection, click here to install the application. The following dialog will be shown.

4. Press "Open" and select "Install" to start the installation

5. Files will be transferred to A1000.

6. Press "Yes" to continue.

7. Select your application language.

8.Choose Ok to complete installation.

B. Map Data Installation

(Note: Only Chinese map data is provided in this Evaluation Edition.)
1. In the Motorola Desktop Suite Window, double click the following button to open the File Explorer to browse files in your A1000.

2. Click here to open the mPocket product directory. Copy the sub-folder "mPocketHike" and paste to C:\ in the A1000 File Explorer.

When installation is finished, you can select the icon of "Hong Kong Hiking Guide" in your A1000 to start the application.
